 Reforestation of green areas

¨No trees, no life¨

Objective: help protect the environment and forests in Atlautla, Estado de México, by planting trees in green areas and place without many trees, to improve air quality and foster environmental stewardship.

Estimated working time: 3 hours

To achieve the goal of promoting the conservation of the environment and forest areas in the community of Atlautla, State of Mexico, through the reforestation of green areas and places with little forest cover, it is necessary to follow an organized process inside the school. The first step is to present the project to the school principal to obtain authorization and create a work plan with the participation of students and teachers. Once the project is approved, the areas inside or near the school that have sparse vegetation and are suitable for reforestation should be identified.

Next, an analysis of the selected areas should be done to know the conditions of the land. It is important to check the type of soil, its humidity, and sunlight, because this will help determine which kinds of trees can best adapt. A small research about the soil and the climate of Atlautla should also be made to be sure that the chosen plants are good for the local environment. After this information is collected, a reforestation plan will be created that includes the number of trees to plant, their distribution in the area, and the best dates to do the planting, preferably at the beginning of the rainy season to help them grow. It is necessary to prepare the tools in advance, such as shovels, buckets, gloves, and watering cans, and to make sure every participant knows the correct way to plant the trees.

On the day of reforestation, a special activity will be organized where students, guided by their teachers, will prepare the holes, place the trees carefully, and cover the roots with moist soil. During this activity, teamwork and care for the environment should be encouraged. After the planting is finished, the trees must be inspected to be sure they are well placed and have enough space to grow.

Finally, after planting, the trees will be reviewed regularly to make sure they are healthy, get enough water, and are not damaged. In this way, green areas will grow successfully, to make air quality and creating environmental awareness among students and the school community. This process not only helps the ecological balance of Atlautla but also promotes the development of a responsible and sustainable environmental culture within the school.

In this way, the previous text was put into an informative video to make the project less boring:
